Onion River Animal Hospital was founded in 1983 by Dr. Colleen Bloom, when she moved to Vermont to escape the city life. Her first task was to transform an old 19th century barn into a veterinary hospital.  

Today Onion River Animal Hospital is a small, full-service animal hospital that has seen steady growth over the last 20+ years.

Dr. Karen Bradley and Dr. Lauren Quinn became co-owners of the practice with Dr. Bloom in 2000. Long-time associate Dr. Erika Bruner began sharing ownership in 2007.

Working alongside the practice owners are a veterinarian, Dr. Gina Pastore, and 16 full and part-time veterinary technicians, receptionists, and support personnel.
