DVM/VMD Student Externship Program
This program is designed to help with the transition from life as a veterinary student to working in a professional practice. This program provides students with an opportunity to participate in all aspects of patient care while working alongside one of our veterinarians. Students in this program will complete learning objectives based on the students individual educational goals.
Veterinary Technician Externship Program
Veterinary technicians are an integral part of any hospital. This program is designed to give future technicians an opportunity to work with the entire veterinary team. For students in their practicum/clinical period, this program is an opportunity to work alongside a credentialed veterinary technician and gain firsthand experience in a veterinary hospital.
Work Based Learning in High School
This creates opportunities for veterinary hospitals to provide structured learning experiences for high school students that have an interest in veterinary medicine. This process allows students to explore careers, connect with veterinary professionals, learn about the functions of the organization, and understand the relevance of their education.
