Ultrasound (or sonography) is a way of imaging the body using sound waves. These images can help us get a closer look at the makeup of organs in a different way from X-rays.

Doctors Culp and Flynn have pursued initial training to do basic ultrasounds here at Onion River Animal Hospital. This is different from a board-certified radiologist or internal medicine specialist who has completed many years of training.
In some cases, after performing an ultrasound here, we may recommend an ultrasound with a specialist to better diagnose and treat your pet.
