Onion River Animal Hospital was founded in 1983 by Dr. Colleen Bloom, when she moved to Vermont to escape the city life.
Today Onion River Animal Hospital is a small, full-service animal hospital that has seen steady growth over the last 35+ years.
Dr. Karen Bradley joined the practice in 2000 and is now the owner of Onion River Animal Hospital. Working alongside Dr. Bradley is co-owner and practice manager Erin Preston (since 1998), co-owner and veterinarian Dr. Anne Culp (since 2016), and medical director Dr. Lauren Quinn (since 2000). Our support staff consists of 6 additional veterinarians and 25 client care coordinators, veterinary nurses, and animal care assistants.
We are proud to be a member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and are the first Fear Free Certified Practice in the State of Vermont.
